Had a friend out from San Francisco and we went tasting. Seems that in the few weeks since you were out here, two new wineries, Bodegas Aguirre and Boaventura de Caires, opened up.
Anyway, we also took our friend to Bent Creek, which was quite good. I immediately picked the syrah as the real stunner as well, loads of meat and olive aromas, aromatically French but loaded with fruit. Livermore continues to surprise me. Thanks for the recommendation.
