I am just tasting a bottle Merlot 1998 from Cartlidge&Brown because my wife is baking a redwine cake and will use the wine for it. I am surprised about the rich taste of the Californian Merlot after 7 years. I bought this wine because I know Tony Cartlidge´s mother living in London Hampstead.
