I found it to be a little wine disguised as a ‘big wine’. It has a big heavy bottle. It has a whopping 14.9 degrees alcohol (why???) but in the mouth it’s a little, fairly simple wine. It’s a $20 wine with a $60 price tag.

I found it to be bright dark garnet in color and liveliness; medium aromas of berry, cherry, jam, vanilla and oak; smooth tannins, layered, soft, with a good solid finish–albeit still young: showing qualities a hearty version of a Napa Sangiovese.
I very much enjoyed your article on Luna–you have incouraged me to once more make that turn of the ole’ Silverado Trail–thanks again! 🙂
