Your support of women in wine contributes to their own success in the wine business. Laura Zahtila has reorganizated her wine operations to include a strategic plan that is showing great success. Wine sales are way up. In fact she is running out of some limited varietals prior to her next planned releases. Also this week Robert Parker posted scores of 92 for the Zahtila 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyards (Her Flagship) and a 90 for the Zahtila 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This is the first time Zahtila wines have been evaluated by a major wine critic. Laura Zahtila is well her way to becoming a major force in the competitive small winery market.
